Final Shop Drafting exists to bridge the gap between affordable drafting and clear, high-quality communication. The goal is simple: produce reliable, buildable shop drawings that support contractors, engineers, and fabricators without the delays and confusion often seen in outsourced work.
This is a focused, hands-on service led by someone who understands the real-world demands of construction. Whether the project involves mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems, each drawing is crafted to meet professional standards, project schedules, and field expectations.
Final Shop Drafting is run by Avery Hamilton, a mechanical engineer with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design. Project experience includes higher education labs, commercial buildings, office tenant improvements, and K–12 schools, all with a focus on producing practical, buildable documentation.
Clients work directly with Avery throughout the drafting process. There are no handoffs or layers of communication. Just consistent quality, clear coordination, and drawings prepared by someone who understands the technical demands of construction. The goal is to offer the responsiveness of an in-house drafter with the flexibility and affordability of outsourcing, without the usual compromises.
